We offer the following Honda power equipment products: Generators, Pumps, Lawnmowers, Tillers, Trimmer/Brushcutters and Snow Blowers.

American Honda allows Power Equipment Company to set up Honda Equipment  Rental and/or Resale dealers in areas where they will not conflict with their own direct dealers.

There are advantages as well as disadvantages to being set up through Power Equipment Company as opposed to being a “direct” dealer with Honda.

Outline of requirements to be set up through Power Equipment Company:

  1. Application for credit.  This form needs to contain your signature, references and tax information. Our accounting department needs to assign a line of credit and basic ownership, billing and shipping information to set up your company in our computer system.  It is part of the New Resale and New Rental Dealer Packets.HPEtrimmer
  2. Authorization from Honda.  A Sub-Dealer Registration form must be completed and submitted to Honda to determine territory availability and to receive written approval.  The exact type of Honda power equipment you are interested in purchasing for Resale or for your Rental fleet must be listed on this registration form.  As above, this form is part of the New Dealer Packets.
  3. An initial equipment purchase must be made at set-up. A Power Equipment territory representative will contact you with details.  A  $2,000 per year minimum purchase thereafter must be made.  If you are signing up at the same time to be a new Honda Engine dealer, you can include your initial engine order as part of these initial purchase requirements.
  4. Service information must be purchased and is available at a minimal cost to dealers through a CD-ROM subscription, which replaces the traditional paper service manuals.  It contains all Honda power equipment products, is updated twice yearly by Honda and sent out through our office.
  5. Part numbers are required once you are established as a dealer.  If you do not have part numbers when contacting our customer service department regarding orders, it may affect your discount structure.  Parts look up for Honda power equipment is available through the ARI Company at 800-558-9044.
